So had a long day with plenty accomplished and plenty to be accomplished. It had it’s ups and it’s downs, the latter part was the best and made me smile the most…until riding home. Listening to Jackson Browne – sad, sad song for me…and then seeing a car upside down on a road I travel just about every day, twice a day!!!
Now…Friday night with tests and final exam preparation and I just feel alone…..yet still don’t feel as though I have time for myself, there just aren’t enough hours in the day!
Cool rainy day! May the sun come out tomorrow and brighten my world once again!!!!
So it was an great night with VCG friends. Had fun learning about Minecraft from an expert Maddie.
Played Monopoly Empire but was schooled by the winner Eva.
Listened to some awesome tunes, including Uptown Funk, ft. Bruno Mars while trying to get all my Fitbit steps in for the day. Made it just in time, barely, hit 10,542 right at midnight, there was some running, walking, jumping, dancing, hula-hooping and craziness involved in getting to the goal. This goes back to my post about persistence, I wasn’t giving up, on a mission to hit my goal consistently everyday. So all my Fitbit friends out there, stay tuned, I am #1 in the ranks as of this morning (in my circle of friends)! WOO HOO!!!!
Placed my order for a new dress to be created by the “Fashionista” Maddie, who refers to herself as a designer. I just think she is all around talented, with her creative skills. She has completed project number one by creating a purse with an eloquent design. Learned some ballet moves, from Eva with description of the Move and Groove rooms.
Conversation then moved to my favorite topic – – – – THE BEACH!!! Planning our next trip to Florida, the sooner the better, can’t wait to get my toes in the sand and the gulf with some fun in the sun. Happy thoughts of the beach will be with me all day long!!!!
It’s Friday Night so everythang is poppin! Well according to the video below but here in my crib it is study time. I actually feel relieved a full weekend of hitting the books and practicing yoga (which means relaxation) and pilates. Going to feel fit, smart and relaxed before the weekend is through. Who knows I may even have prolonged the death of a brain cell or two. Which is important considering when you get my age you could be losing up to….wait for it….wait for it…..yes 10,000 brain cells a day!

I am really trying to put these into practice in my daily life but anyone who knows me will be pretty in touch with the fact that number 7 and 8 are really a bit out of my reach at this point….. Oh well 6 out of 8 isn’t such a bad ratio unless of course you are referring to my GPA then that is completely out of the question.
So now needing a bit of a pick me up to make it through the next chapter I am dreaming about a scrumptious CupCake with icing piled sky high and with a filling surprise inside! Since it is fall I believe a moist Pumpkin Spice with Maple Cinnamon Cream Cheese Icing is on the list to have my mouth water over. That and a Grande cup of Pumpkin Latte from Starbucks and I could be happy through tomorrow, at least that calorie intake would put me at the limit through tomorrow but hey as stated before, a girl can dream!
